What equipment do chicken farms need

1. Heating equipment

The hot blast stove heating system is mainly composed of hot blast stoves, blowers, perforated air passages, and dampers. It uses air as the medium and coal as the fuel to provide clean and clean hot air for the space for heating the chicken house.

2. Ventilation equipment

The function of the ventilation equipment is to remove the dirty air, moisture, and excess heat from the chicken house, while replenishing fresh air. The closed chicken house must be mechanically ventilated. According to the direction of airflow in the chicken house, ventilation equipment can be divided into two types: horizontal ventilation and vertical ventilation. Horizontal ventilation refers to the direction of airflow in the chicken house that is perpendicular to the long axis of the house, and vertical ventilation refers to a ventilation method in which a large number of ventilation fans are concentrated in one place, so that the airflow in the chicken house is parallel to the long axis of the house. The effect of vertical ventilation is better, which can eliminate and overcome the phenomenon of ventilation dead corners and small and uneven wind speed in the house during lateral ventilation, and at the same time eliminate the drawbacks of cross-infection between chicken houses caused by lateral ventilation. The commonly used ventilation equipment in the chicken house is the ventilation fan.

3. Feeding equipment

The automatic feeder line can realize automatic feeding of multi-layer aquaculture, and the feeder has a special device to ensure that the feed can be evenly spread to the trough to avoid waste.

4. Drinker equipment

Nowadays, the most common use of cage-bred adult chickens and laying hens is V-shaped sinks, which often run water for water supply, but spend energy every day to scrub the sinks. From the point of view of saving water and preventing bacterial contamination, nipple drinkers are the most ideal water supply equipment, and high-quality water-tight drinkers must be selected. There are five types of drinkers: nipple drinker, cup drinker, sink drinker, pendant drinker, and vacuum drinker. Chick start-up and free-range chickens use vacuum drinkers, pendant drinkers, and trough drinkers, and free-range chickens now tend to use nipple drinkers.

5. Manure cleaning equipment

There are two methods of cleaning manure in the chicken house: manual manure removal and mechanical manure removal. Common equipment for mechanical manure cleaning is scraper-type manure cleaner, belt-type manure cleaner, and drawer-type manure cleaner. Scraper-type manure cleaners are mostly used for stepped chicken cages and online flat chicken cages; belt-type manure cleaners are mostly used for stacked chicken cages; drawer-type manure removal boards are mostly used for small stacked chicken cages. The automatic manure cleaning machine can automatically clean the manure and can be timed, thus ensuring the environment of the chicken house, greatly reducing the labor intensity, and giving the chickens a good air environment.

6. Egg collection equipment

The automatic egg collecting machine is special equipment for collecting eggs. The eggs are collected in one place for poultry farmers to handle, which replaces the time-consuming and laborious manual egg collection in the past, improves work efficiency, and can also be adjusted as needed to reduce the damage rate.

7. Chicken cage equipment

The brooding can be done with a mesh board or a three-dimensional multi-layer brooder; in addition to the flat net feeding, the bred chickens mostly use overlapping or stepped breeding chicken cages. Laying hens are basically caged, which can be purchased according to the actual situation, and the area of the chicken cage must be guaranteed.

8. Lighting equipment

In addition to the light source, the lighting equipment is mainly an automatic lighting controller. The function of the lighting automatic controller is to turn on and off the lights on time. Replacing manual switches to ensure accurate and reliable lighting time.

9. Incubation equipment

Incubation equipment refers to the general term for the items required in the incubation process, including: incubators, hatchers, incubator accessories, special items for incubators, heating equipment, humidification equipment, various measurement systems, etc.
