What is Fermentation Bed Raising Chicken

Fermentation bed chicken raising technology was first researched and developed by the Yamagishi Society of Japan in the 1950s. Fermentation bed chicken raising is an effective and more reasonable ecological chicken raising, which not only achieves the effective treatment of chicken manure, realizes zero emission, no pollution, and no odor, but also provides the most suitable ecological environment for the healthy growth of chickens. In this environment, chickens grow faster, produce more eggs, have better egg quality, and have fewer diseases. The labor, water, and materials are greatly saved, and the efficiency of raising chickens is significantly improved.

Precautions and required breeding equipment

1. The chicken farmer must sign a contract for the production of fermentation beds with the company that supplies bacteria. If there is any problem, you can contact the company that provides bacteria.

2. Often drink 1:200 times EM bacteria dilution.

Chicken farmers can install and use chicken nipple drinkers, ensuring that chickens can drink fresh water at any time. The nipple drinker is equipped with an automatic dosing device. The EM bacterial dilution can be injected into the automatic dosing device. The working water pressure of the nipple drinker is low. It is often used in conjunction with a pressure-reducing valve or a water tank to adjust the water pressure to suit the needs of chickens of different ages. The suitable water pressure is chick 14.7~24.5kPa; adult chicken 24.5~34.3kPa. (The specific water pressure value depends on the model of the nipple drinker you choose, please consult us for the specific water pressure of the nipple drinkers) Should avoid the phenomenon that the water pressure is too high or too low to lead the chicken cannot drink water or the nipple drinker leaks. In addition, the nipple drinker cannot be used within 20 days after the chicken beak is cut off, because the beak is sore and dare not peck.

3. Feeding fermented feed can decompose the nutrients of the feed in advance, which is convenient for the chicken to fully absorb.

Chicken farmers can install automatic chicken feeding pan. The chicken feeder pan has 14 Grills and 16 Grills, which can be manually and automatically adjusted. Chicken feeder pan's slide shutter-off can adjust feed amount from completely open to complete close. Adjusting the feeding amount convenient, fast and accurate. Pan feeder can be disassembled on the ground working as specially pan for 0-7 days old chicken. V-pan plate design can reduce feed storage at the pan bottom. Birds can have fresh feed every day. This design can also prevent the birds from staying on the chicken feeder pan too long. Edge of the pan feeder tilt towards the center which can avoid the waste of feed. 4. The density of chicken stocking should be well controlled. After the density is high, there will be too much manure per unit area, and the bacteria in the fermentation bed cannot effectively decompose the manure, so it is suitable to raise five to six chickens per square meter. And each chicken nipple drinker can be used for 3~6 adult chickens or 10~20 chicks. Each feeding tray can be used for 10-15 adult chickens. Based on these values, the chicken farmer can calculate how many nipple drinkers and feeder pan the chicken farm needs.

5. The growth of beneficial bacteria require a humid environment. Observe the humidity of the fermentation bed and spray 1:200 times EM bacteria dilution. Humidity is controlled at around 30%.

6. Pay close attention to the activity of probiotics: if necessary, add 1:50 times of EM bacterial solution to adjust the activity of probiotics to ensure the normal operation of fermentation.

7. Prohibition of chemical drugs: It is forbidden to use chemicals and antibiotics in the fermentation litter to prevent the killing and reduce the activity of probiotics.

8. Must pay attention to ventilation.

Chicken farmers can install equipment such as exhaust fans, ventilation fans, or cooling pads in the chicken house to ensure the temperature and humidity in the coop. Increase the wind speed during ventilation, promote the discharge of poor air and heat in the chicken house, and improve the effect of ventilation. Pay attention to the weather when ventilating. If it is low temperature and rainy, then pay attention to the amount of ventilation, open the ventilation vents reasonably, and avoid improper ventilation, which will affect the growth of chickens. Ventilation mainly relies on ventilation fans, ventilation vents, and other equipment. When opening the ventilation vents, we should pay attention to matching the size of the ventilation fan. Ensure comprehensive and uniform ventilation, stabilize the static pressure in the house, and control the airflow rate. The size of the ventilation vent is mainly determined by the airflow rate in the chicken house. To ensure that the ventilation vents are symmetrical, install the deflector to ensure that the air in the upper part of the house is fresh enough. After fully mixing with the lower air, the air quality in the chicken house can be improved to prevent the chickens from being directly blown by the cold wind.

9. Normal epidemic prevention.

Chicken farmers can inject anti-epidemic drugs into the automatic dosing device of the nipple drinker, and the chickens can prevent or treat diseases through drinking water immunization and drugs.
