1. Simple chicken coop

Generally, a simple chicken coop can be built in forests, mountains, etc., which requires heat preservation and wind protection. It is ensured that there is no water leakage in the chicken shed on rainy days, no water accumulation outside the chicken shed after the rain stops, and no wind flowing in the chicken shed when the wind blows. Bamboo and wood can be used to form a "herringbone"-shaped frame, the roof is 2 meters high, and the north and south eaves are 1.5 meters high. The part of the plastic film used to buckle the shed that touches the edge of the ground is compacted with bricks or stones, and the top surface of the shed is fastened with ropes. Drainage ditches should be dug on the east, north and west sides of the shed, surrounded by bamboo sheets to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer. Lighting lamps should be installed in the shed, and feed troughs, drinking fountains and other equipment should be provided.

2. Ordinary chicken coop

It is mainly used for raising chickens in orchards. It can be built into a sloping roof on the building structure. The slope faces south, and a 2-meter-high wall is built on the north. Larger windows can be left on the east and west sides. The south side can be surrounded by nylon mesh or barbed wire. But there must be large windows. The area of 16 square meters is suitable. This kind of chicken house has a good ventilation effect, can make full use of sunlight, and has good thermal insulation performance.

3. Plastic greenhouse chicken coop

When building a plastic greenhouse, you need to prepare ground and wall building materials such as red bricks, foam bricks, cement, stones, and sand. As well as curved arches and steel structure materials made of bamboo, wooden poles or steel bars, and the ceiling materials require non-drip film, linoleum, straw fence, lime water, steel wire, iron wire and other building materials. At the time of construction, the height of the rear wall of the plastic greenhouse is 1.2-15 meters, the height of the ridge is 2.2-2.5 meters, the span is 6 meters, and the vertical distance from the ridge to the rear wall is 4 meters. The length of the chicken house can be determined according to the number of chickens. The contact between the plastic film and the ground and wall should be compacted with mud bricks to prevent the entry of thieves. Every 50 cm during construction, the film is fastened with a live wire rope to prevent the wind from scraping the film. A lamination line is set between every two arch rods, the upper end is fixed on the shed ridge, and the lower part is fixed on the ground anchor. The lamination line is best to use nylon rope, which has both high strength and easy tension. In addition, an air outlet should be set up in the greenhouse, and the ground inside the shed can be padded with bricks, 30-40 cm above the outdoor ground, and a drainage ditch should be set up in the southern part of the shed to drain the water dripping from the surface of the film in time. On the north wall of the shed, a window with an area of 1m x 0.8m is set every 3m, which is closed in winter and gradually opened in summer. The door should be located on the east side of the shed, opening outwards, with the door pivot on the right. The shed should also be equipped with lighting equipment, food troughs and sinks.

4. Arch-type chicken coop

Generally, it is about 40 meters long, about 6 to 7 meters wide, and about 2 to 3 meters high. East and West. Steel pipe, steel structure, double-layer plastic film, gables at both ends, with doors and vents. In summer, you can open the vents and doors on the lower film and the gable for ventilation, and you can also plant some shade plants or put a shade net on the top. In the early and late winter and when the weather is bad, the straw curtain should be used to cover the film, and 1/3 of the straw curtain should be rolled up from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the temperature in the chicken coop can reach 18-20 degrees Celsius. On cloudy and snowy days, all grass curtains should be covered.

5. Curtain-type greenhouse chicken coop

This kind of chicken coop is 40~50 meters long, 2.5~3 meters high, and 6~9 meters wide, with a herringbone or flat roof, and a skylight, the roof is supported by brick stacks on the south and north sides, and there is a barbed wire between the brick stacks, the gable is masonry, and the doors and vents are opened here. In winter, use plastic film on the south and north sides of the chicken house, block it with hanging curtains, and hang another layer of straw curtains outside, and roll up the straw curtains during the day when the weather is fine. In cloudy and snowy weather and at night, put down the straw curtain, remove the straw curtain and plastic film in summer, and rely on natural ventilation. This type of chicken house is more suitable for caged laying hens and breeders.

6. Movable shed chicken coop

This kind of chicken coop is very suitable for raising chickens in the woodland. The material of the greenhouse can be made of steel pipes with a diameter of 3~5 cm for the inner and outer arches, and then use steel bars with a diameter of 1.4 to 1.5 cm to connect the arches longitudinally, build the gables with bricks, and use plastic film as the roof. The inner layer is preferably made of polyethylene drip-free plastic film. This chicken coop can raise broiler chickens.

7. Open the chicken coop

This kind of chicken house is suitable for brooding and raising rearing chickens and young chickens. The span of the chicken coop is 6-8 meters, and there are windows on the north and south walls. The south window is 1.5 meters high and 1 meter wide. The house is separated into small natural rooms with barbed wire. Each natural room is equipped with a small door for the breeder to enter and exit and raise the operation. The position of the small door depends on the span of the chicken house. The small span is located on the south or north side of the chicken house, and the large one is located in the middle. The width of the small door is about 1.2 meters. Set up a plastic mesh at a height of 70 cm above the ground.
